Verdicts in trials of Claude James Donnelly
The trial of Claude James Donnelly concluded today (Thursday 18 June) at the Royal Court, St Helier. He was found guilty of 15 counts; 10 indecent assaults, four rapes and one count of procuring an act of gross indecency.
He was found not guilty of one count of indecent assault.
This was the second of two trials against Mr Donnelly.
In the first trial, which started on 15 May 2009, Mr Donnelly was convicted of one count of rape and three counts of indecent assault against a separate child.
He was acquitted of one count of indecent assault against another complainant at the first trial.
